Aswan governorate is considered one of the most important governorates of an archaeological and touristic nature in Egypt. Although it is the southern gateway to Egypt, it has many important archaeological and tourist sites, making it a source of attraction for tourists from all over the world.

The most important archaeological monuments in Aswan governorate: There are many archaeological monuments in Aswan and it may be the governorate with the most archaeological character in Egypt after Luxor, as it is rich in antiquities belonging to different eras in its five centers, which are “Aswan, Kom Ombo, Nasr Nubia, and Edfu” & the following is an archaeological and touristic map, the most important landmarks of Aswan:
